2009
Judi Brown:  Silver medalist 1984 Olympics- 400m hurdles; three-time gold medalist Pam American Games; twelve-time Big Ten Champion at Michigan State; three-time All-American and World Record Holder. Gary Morgan: National Racewalk Champion 17 times; member of 18 United States National Teams; competitor at six U.S. Olympic Trials; member of the 1988 Olympic Team; ranked in the top ten in the U.S. in the 20 and 50 kilometer walks for twenty consecutive years; 1997 New York Athletic Club “Athlete of the Year.”
Lorenzo Croft: Twice named Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association “Coach of the Year”; coach of the State Track & Field Champions at Ecorse High School in 1969, 1970, and 1973 and runners-up in 1971, 1979, 1982, and 1987; member of Miller High School and Kentucky State Hall of Fame. Ron Phillips: Denby graduate who went on to become a three-time All-American at the University of Illinois; Big Ten Half-Mile Champion in 1971; member of the 1972 Indoor NCAA 2-Mile Relay Champion Team; third in the NCAA 880 in 1971 and second in 1972; currently second All-Time Best at Illinois and 43rd on the All-time U.S. 800 list at 1:45.3.

Michelle Batten:  Helped found the Eastside Attention Center Track Program; longtime coach with The Think Detroit PAL Track Team.  Coached many athletes who became All-Americans and Olympians.
 
Francie Kraker Goodridge: 1968 and 1972 Olympian; World Indoor 600-Yard and National Half-Mile Record Holder.  Second fastest all-time U.S. 1500 performance for a woman at the Munich Olympics.
 
Lou Scott:  1968 Olympian; Michigan High School Athlete of the Year in 1962 and 1963 running fourth and third fastest miles in the U.S.  1967 Pan American Silver Medalist.
 
Adolf Weinacker: 1948-1952-1956 Olympian;  Top U.S. finisher in the 50 Kilometer Walk in the 1952 and 1956 Olympics.  U.S. Walking Champion at 15-20-25-30-35-40 and 50 kilometers.
