Jacqueline DeVose: MacKenzie High School.  Competed for eleven years as a youth elite athlete holding state and national records in the 100, 200, 300, and 400 as well as the 400, 800, and 1600 relays; 1970 Youth Athlete of the Year; Nine-year Michigan USATF Secretary; Chair of Michigan USATF since 2001; Meet Director for the largest youth track and cross-country meets in Michigan for 18 years; Director of USATF World Youth Games Trials at EMU.
Tony Mifsud: Cody High School. High School All-American; 1962 Community College National Cross-Country Champion; Eastern Michigan University Track and Cross-Country Captain; two-time NAIA All-American; three-time NCAA All-American; 1995 Runner’s World Master Runner of the Year; EMU Cross-Country Runner of the Year; Michigan Interscholastic Track Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Marshall Dill: Northern High School.  Five-time state sprint champion; 1971 Track and Field News High School Athlete of the Year; ranked 4th in the world at 200m while in high school; set national prep records at 100m and 20m and the 220 yard dash; silver medalist 1971 Pan American Games; eleven indoor and outdoor Big Ten titles at MSU; three-time NCAA All-American; indoor 300-yard world record holder.
John Telford: Denby High School.  First Michigan sprinter under 47 seconds for 440 yards; silver medalist 1957 NCAA and AAU National Championships; undefeated at 400m representing the U.S. in Europe in 1957 and ranked 4th in the world; six victories over Olympic champions; Wayne State University and Conference records at all distances from 60 to 600 yards; WSU Distinguished Alumnus of the Year; WSU Hall of Fame.
